Technical flashing mileage

was travelling in to a friends house today when i noticed that the mileage ws flashing? once parked up, tried restarting car and mileage had stopped flashing.
However started car again to commence journey and was travelling into town and again flashing started. got to car park stopped car and promptly restarted and no flashing mileage but electric power steering failure beeped up a warning.
Went into town only to return to car slightly worried about 1hr later, no warnings, no flashing.
I know they are tempermental but these things are driving me

any clues??!!

Mine did the same,then washer faliure then darkness setting then gearbox.My brake switch was faulty and now thats done all the warnings have stopped.
Just stilo electrics I think.
Flapping the door trick seemed to help in the short term.

Body Computer reset MIGHT help; unclip the grey connector with 2 thick red wires going in, leave out for 2 minutes, then plug back in. If it comes up again, take it to FIAT and ask them to Proxi-Realign the car and ask to check for faults.
