Hi, I've just wired up an aftermarket stereo, no problem there. However does the stereo fit in existing metal bracket or do you take it out and use the supplied bracket that comes with radio. Or dies the new bracket slip inside the existing one. I have a facia panel to fit as well.

Normally you would remove the original cage and fit the one that came with the new unit...However if the cages are the same size I cant see why you couldnt use it..
You should always use the cage supplied with the stereo so that it locks in and can be removed correctly with the supplied keys. Since aftermarket cages cannot fit inside the OE cage, you need to remove the OE cage.
