I've owned my mk2 sporting for over a year now, and am looking to get it lowered 35mm. But i can't find anywhere near me that will fit them, not for money i can afford anyway. I live in Petersfield, Hampshire and my local garages want £180 just to fit the springs. But i've heard that people have had theirs fitted for about £50 / £60. Is there anyone who lives in the same sort of area that can recommend anywhere. Unfortunately i don't have the technical knowledge to fit them myself.

It's really not difficult to fit springs. Have you tried the wee back-street type places or do you have a spanner handy pal thta'll help you out for a case of Strongbow? £180 quid is probably two hours labour - which sounds about right for a pair of springs.

I've been doing a bit of searching for my Bravo and people have been saying max of £100 for full set of springs. Haven't actually got a specific garage though.
