General Fitting interior fuse box cover

Hi all, is there a trick to refitting the interior fuse box cover? I cannot get the plastic screws to turn no matter how hard I try. I've tried using the recommended 10p coin as driver with no success, and I'm reluctant to use a metal screwdriver as I'm certain that will destroy the screw heads.

Definitely lined up properly??

I dont recall having trouble.. but have seen plenty of mangled ones

On my mk2b (both of them actually) I had at least one of those fasteners that would not do up, obviously I only needed one to work, but I imagine that both of yours have broken.

You may need to try and get a new cover or clips
