My Stilo is due it's first service at the end of this month i have tried two dealers and i got the price between £195.00 & £210.00 the reason is it is a diesel and the air con increases the price can anyone enlighten me on whether this is the market price or do i need to barter with the dealers before putting it in.
Thanks..

When it comes to servicing, you will find that the cost can vary quite drastically between dealers even though FIAT operates a menu pricing policy. This still leads to variations as the menu pricing often only relates to the pricing of the parts and the time required to complete the service - the 'variable' in the equation is the good old labour charges which will vary from garage to garage and from town to town.

My local dealer wants £246.92 for the 12k service on a JTD hatchback so sounds like you've been quoted a fair price - your dealers obviously have lower labour rates (mine charges £64.95 per hour).

I have just had my first sevice for my 1.9JTD Dynamic and it cost me £150 from a Fiat main dealer. I was quoted prices from £150-£230 from Fiat dealers, so of course I went with the £150 offer.
