Technical First ever problem with the punto!

My punto has start to make a clonking sounds after I go over a bump.

I think it's the exhaust, as it has quite a bit of movement... But knowing my luck it's something alot more serious

What else could it be? It's definately coming from the back, and it clonk's about 2-4 times after going over a bump.

How old is your Punto?

If it is coming from the back, it is most likely to be a thumping rear brake drum - I had the same problem - it only happens in cold weather for some reason. Take it down to a local garage and get them to clean them out - I found that it was just rubbing for a while but it went after a few weeks.

UPDATE-

It is a mount on the exhaust, so a trip to kwikfit tomorrow.
