Has anyone had any experience fitting FIRE engines into older fiats, specifically the 127?

there is a guy who some times comes on the forum with a fire engine in a classic 500

a fire in a 127 should be no problem seen a few with 1500 engine in but not for the road but see no reason why not

The 1500, presumably from an x1/9 is the same type of engine so is similar to dropping a punto engine into a cinq. It's looking harder all the time i think/look into it.
Theres also an Uno Turbo engined 128 & I think I`ve seen the twin cam dropped into one too.
The FIRE would be a piece of cake using a mixture of Uno/Panda mounts with matching gearshifts.
