General Fiorino 1.7 TD Locking Fuel Cap

I need a new fuel cap for my 1.7 TD Fiorino as the inner mechanism has just crumbled due to age and being soaked with diesel. The barrel/key still works fine. Went to the fiat dealer, they say no longer available. Apparently the cap is unique to the Fiorino. Anyone got any idea where I can get one? I don't need the lock barrel I have it ready to fit into the new cap. Has anyone tried using a cap off a newer Fiat with any success?

Thought I'd update in case anyone else needs a new fuel cap - although according to ePER it was the 'wrong' cap, I got hold of a cap part number 7760391 and it looks exactly like the original and swapped the lock barrel over and now it fits nicely onto my van...

JUST CHECK THAT YOUR TANK VENTS THROUGH A HOSE, AND NOT THROUGH THE CAP, AS SOME DID.
IF YOUR TANK IS'NT VENTED,WITH A CAP THAT IS'NT VENTED,NO AIR CAN GET IN SEALING YOUR TANK!
