So after 54000 mile and six years I got an error message last night. faulty driving light..or something similar. Basically I am about to enter the daylight driving light zone. Wish me luck, I may be some time !!

My DRL failure warning was 6 months ago.. @48k
On the evo and punto it is in the main headlamp.. so relatively easy underbonnet access.
If it meant a bumper off I would definitely have used a new set.
I initially just swapped bulbs side to side.. 2 reasons:
Making sure it was the bulb at fault
Putting the working bulb on the drivers side.
It was a Toshiba bulb..
Oversize version of the push.in numberplate ones
Not sure about yours.
