Technical Filling with oil and petrol

The Doblo is by far the worst car I've come across for slow filling when refuelling. I usually just fill up until I get bored, which seems to equate to about £30 worth. Today I did my first oil and filter change and discovered that the oil has to be trickled in as well. I used my usual funnel, half filled it with oil and stood there helpless as oil poured out of the top of the filler orifice and down the side of the engine. I carried on with extreme caution and eventually got the requisite amount of oil in the engine.

Ours is no slower filling with fuel than any car I have had.
As for oil filling, are you sure the funnel wasn't blocked by sitting on something?

Surely if the funnel was blocked by sitting on something the oil would tend to stay in the funnel rather than overflow from the rocker cover orifice?
