Technical FiatECUscan Diagnostics Kit

Hi Guys,
Thinking of treating myself to this FiatECUscan Kit & carry case with full version included. Will this cover all my bases for what I need. Im thinking that if I purchase Full version,Elm lead & Canbus lead etc. that this may work out to be a better option. Thoughts anyone ? Thanks.

Possibley because who ever was selling it did not have permission from Yani(FiatECUScan owner) to do so.

I've seen a few on ebay like that and I've reported them all.

Yani's software does not come as part of any sort of kit as far as I'm aware, so be careful when purchasing on eBay.

i thought the GENDAN guys pay him for the ones they sell? just he dont personally recommend any hardware suppliers

When I purchase the full version of FiatECUScan will I also need to acquire the Electonic Keycode from my local Fiat dealer to gain access for use or should it work automatically once I am registered/connected ?

ive never needed Electonic Keycode from dealer

The key code is required by FES when you need to access the security features of the car, recoding key remotes for example.

Thanks Shadey. Would that includes resetting the remote open/close function on my 3 button fob. I am currently only using the key blade to open the car. It does light up when pressd but the doors dont open. Regards

That's quite a common problem, its sometimes been solved by disconnecting the battery over night so the ECU's reset themselves.

Failing that recoding the keys back to the car using FES is an option and yes you will need the Key Code.
