General Fiat uno 1994 diesel won't start

Hello! bought new car last week. It's diesel and the day after the yellow light didnt work ( the one u have to wait for before starting the engine). I got it jumped started and its been working fine since. However, today it wouldn't start. It sounded like the battery was flat but when I tried to jump start it nothing happened! ne1 got ne ideas! thanks!

Yep if it's the glow plugs then you'll notice light plumes of white smoke coming out of the exhaust - my Uno diesel used to do this and was sorted with a change of plugs.
