General Fiat Uno 1.7 D 60D Start. 1994. Cambelt change?

Hi.

Can anyone point me to a link which has the procedure for changing a cambelt on a Fiat Uno Start 60D?

If I need to get a book, could you post the name of the book or a link to the book so I can find the details.

Hi Ian.
Autodata produce a good timing belt book but it won't be cheap!!!!
They are not a bad belt to do as long as you have previous timing belt experience. What you can find with the belt on the UNO diesel is that you have to put the belt on with the pump timing a tooth out. Then rotate the engine by hand twice and it should then be aligned properly.
I would just like to add though that I wouldn't recommend changing the belt yourself unless you have done a few in the past. They can be very expensive if you get them wrong.

I got my brother to do mine, as he's a mechanic, looked a bit of a bugger but he did it pretty quickly...
