Technical Fiat tipo cross oil change light

Hi,

I have a fiat tipo cross 22 plate and recently had my oil checked and its all good. However every time I turn on the car the oil change light keeps coming up on the dashboard. Tried to look at resetting it and tried to do different combinations with the pedals but for my car type it doesn't work.

Does anyone know how to reset it for this model?

Probably only resettable via diagnostic system

Was this an oil change?

"counters" need to be rest after Oil changes

Chances are at some point this has not been performed correctly

Many garages seem to charge for this work.. Then only carry out the easy stuff

Look up SGW on here, that may be part of your issue

The oil change counter is independent of the service counter. Both need to be reset after a service.
