Technical Fiat Strada 1.3 not starting with the key

Hiya, new here with a big frustration.
My 2010 Fiat Strada 1.3 won't start by turning the key in the ignition. Fuel pump runs, starter works well but won't get the engine running. Rolling start works well every time though, just need a few meters and she runs like a champ.
When the problem occurred initially, I just had to run the starter for long enough time and it would start up eventually. Now I could probably drain the battery without the engine starting with the ignition.

Any clues?

I can move the car when in gear with the starter, so that issue isn't present I reckon
