hi ive been wanted to do a stilo with the fiat coupe 20v turbo engine for a long time now, ive got a fiat stilo 1.2 which was ready for the abarth conversion but it don't really interest me now, I was wondering if the 20v turbo conversion has been done before? what difficulties are there? e.c.t cheers.

Should be doable -- after all, the 2.4 is just a stretched 2 litre n/a engine.
I'd actually buy a complete coupe tub and use as much of the drivetrain and suspension and brakes as you can. After all, there's no way you can get a 4 cylinder ECU to run 5 cylinders, and the 1.2 box won't take turbo torque.
I want to do the same to a Multipla, to replicate the famous Polski pimp mobile.

That makes to of us!! I've got a abarth and I'm looking to turbo it but seeing how much work is involved!!! Looking to put the coupe turbo 20v engine in

Somebody came very close to once and done a thread which went into great detail into how he done it but sadly came to nothing as he couldn't get the thing started so broke it up
