Technical Fiat Stilo 1.8 engine damage

Wanted for Fiat Stilo 2002, 1.8i, 98kw. Or give please some information where can i get it and what the price is?

Have another fiat`s the same engine as this one or the same engine heads like this 1.8? And can i put another engine in this place?

From what I have read on the site ..the punto 1.8 HGT uses the same engine as the stilo..

Can you say please - can I put an engine from different model and what kind of capacity? maybe 1.6 from stilo? My engine code: 192A4.000

It is not easy to swop engines on the stilo because
of the electronics involved the body computer will
not recognise the different ecu's involved.

If you can get the same engine it would be easier
as you can use the original ECU's on the car to control
fuel spark and throttle position.

Thats a fair bit of damage you don't have much choice
other than to drop in another engine or scrap the car.

Either another 1.8 from a stilo or from a HGT punto
and keeping the original electronics.

I found the engine but - 1400eur
I from Latvia...

1400 thats not much less than the cost of replacing your car keep looking
