Surely if Fiat dealer supplied and fitted the actuator originally and now they say its the wrong one - thats their fault and should rectify it without any cost to you .

I think you should contact Fiat customer service on 0800 717000 and tell them everything that has happened so far.

They will hopefully explain any / all options available to you.

no i purchased the ecu from fiat i bought the actuator from another company bba reman who charged me 187 pounds,fiat wanted to charge 500,so as you can imagine i went for the cheaper of the two,only to be let down,but i have been in touch with the company who i purchase it from and they are sending a courier out to collect it and have a look at it for me:bang:
