General fiat scudo van

Hi i have just bought a scudo van, (2001 ) when we have heavy rain water seeps through the side sliding doors, anyone know how i can stop this.

I know everyone wants to say this so I'll go first....

stop driving in the rain.

Seriously? Use a strip of paper (or similar) and shut the door on it - try pulling the paper through the seal. Do this all around the edge. When it comes out easily you've found the 'hole'. If the hole is in one particular area as opposed to being right down one side, you should be able to adjust the seal at that point (put something under it to make it stand proud perhaps?).

If it's all the way down one side then the door may need realignment.

thanks for reply, it only comes in at the top, i think door needs adjusting, to pull top in i dont know how. (help )

I bent mydoors by just pulling on them. Worked for a short while, so then I used to just bungee them to the seat bases from inside

my 07 reg leaks through the top of the door and has done so from new, just one of those things i think, never found a cure for this though.
