General fiat punto, no wipers and heater only works on full

hi.
i have a mk1 punto and the wipers only worked on fast now they don't work at all. my heater only works on the highest setting, are these related?

the fuse for the wipers did blow and i changed it, now the rear wiper and all washer jets work but not the front wipers.

does anyone have any idea what this is?

maybe aproblem with the wiper motor. burnt out maybe ?

when you say your heater works you mean it only knocks out warm air on the highest setting, or do you mean the blower only pushs out air on the third or fourth setting?

Both wipers and blower are not related, well not in a technical sense, they are connected in sods law, i.e its winter its dark its damp you need your wipers and your blower andheater and none of them work!!

Wipers sounds like the motor needs rebuilt or better still just get a new one/ breakers yard jobs.

Blower motor you can get new bushs for, as they are replacable, but I'd be buggered where you can get them from as mine makes a really annoying clicking noise.
