Hi all,
My 56 plate fiat punto dynamic is struggling to start this past week and I have seen the engine management light come and go.
First started weds night after leaving work and a mechanic came to me to do a diagnostic test. Codes said water temp sensor, but also he said he was fairly sure its a faulty ECU as the ABS and body control unit were losing signal to the ECU.
Thing is...Saturday it all started fine no engine light and I made a 20 mile journey all fine and running great.
Then yesterday it struggled...I got it to start and went shopping.
Today tried it 3 times this morning...starts and then dies within secs.. and engine management light back on.
Could it be the ECU? I'm not experienced at all with cars but to me it's like the engine isn't getting enough fuel after ignition..
Any help please?
Thanks in advance
