Fiat Punto 1.2 8v LPG remap help! Lovato easy fast
Hi all
I have Fiat Punto 1.2 8v LPG
I need advice how to reduce fuel consumption on LPG
Current LPG consumption is about ~9 liter per 100 km urban drive. its not much.
We know by catalog it's 7.3 liters per 100 km petrol urban.

But I want to reduce to 7,1~7,3 and its possible because I have reduced once but I have made changes and have saved but I don't remember which saved file was.

Is there any expert who can help me to reduce values on the map, and which parts I need to change.
I see injection times 6 and 8 are very important for the fuel consumption.
Thanks in advance.

1. Go to professional LPG shop and ask for remap, a real one (must be done while driving, ideally with extra oxygen sensor in the exhaust pipe). None of that lame, stationary "auto tuning" or whatever it's called in Lovato.

2. You MUST consume more LPG than petrol/gasoline, "because science": chemistry, physics, thermodynamics laws. Typical numbers are 10-20% more. Otherwise you are risking lean condition = burning valves and seats very fast. By the way - if it's 8V engine, you should check valve clearances every 20-30000 km or so (basically everytime you change the sparkplugs). Almost no one does that (then you get negative opinions on how LPG is harmful to the engines and it's not worth installing it).

3. Catalog fuel consumption numbers mean nothing. They are hard to achieve in real world, real driving conditions. Don't ever expect to get exactly what they say in advertisements. And never on LPG (for reasons given in point 2).
