Hello . did anyone change the steering wheel from a normal steering wheel without buttons (fiat panda 2008 not 100hp) to a steering wheel with buttons volume , skip .. something like fiat panda 100hp or fiat 500 steering wheel
i have an aftermarket stereo and i want to have power steering controls ( not with bt , i already try it , and i didnt like it)

The steering wheel will physically fit the car but you will probably need the clock spring ribbon cable. However I have no idea if the wiring loom is the same on all models. I would be surprised if it is.

thank for your answer! the clock spring is the problem yea , i dont which one to pick , i dont which is the correct one
 
Yes people have patched in a third party radio to work with buttons on a Arbath 500 steering wheel

Don’t ask me not something I have done

but as far as I know nobody has ever added OEM steering wheel and OEM head unit and got them to work with the body computer.

Body computer holds the immobiliser information, this will not work.

You have to change the ECU, steering wheel, locks, body computer, radio and keys

Or get someone the program the body computer and make the ECU virgin
 
I knew about the locked ECU issue but its interesting they can be swapped in this way. I guess the next issue will be wiring loom. Swapping that is probably thread all on it's own).
