Technical Fiat Marea HELP NEEDED (Piggy Back)

Hi, i have a Marea 1.9TD, i have found a conversion that adds a resistior somewhere on a sensor to increase power/economy its also Known as a (PIGGY BACK), does anyone know of such a thing and i assume its a simple conversion without this resistor kit, any ideas please, I am pretty confident in doing conversion as in the early years i used to modify fiat uno turbos, since all electronic they are a pain in the a*****

waste of time and money, all it does is make your car think the air coming in is cooler than it actually is, and causes the car to add more fuel, but as the air isnt really that cool, all it does is run rich, stay clear

Is there any other mod i could do without breaking the bank?
As its a 1.9turbo diesel would there be any problem in fitting a bleed valve (inline with turbo actuator), can the ecu etc take the mod?
ANY IDEAS PLEASE,
