Fiat in trouble over tax avoidance

Story says it all fiat brokered a deal to basically pay as little tax as possible and now face I big bill to put things right.

It's an Italian company it'd be news if the books were legit.

I think the 'outrage' has been replaced by 'another company fiddling the books to maximise profits, don't they all'. The media are only interested in shock headlines and then move on. Companies fiddling tax has been replaced by VW's emissions fiddle and that will be replaced on the front pages by some other equally shocking story to keep selling the papers, news show etc.

Yeah, lack of contribution probably more because there's little to say. Loads of companies do it. They shouldn't, but they do.
