fiat grande punto heavy steering wheel

hii..i left my grande punto in grage for 2 weeks after i found the battery is very low so i charged up it for 5 hours..car is starting normaly but found red steering wheel icon on dash n very heavy steering wheel.. hv to change the battery??
pls help..

The system is electric so it need a good battery
As you have said your battery has gone flat recently it's likely that it isn't it best health
So a new battery should help

thx a lot fr ur help..i chrged the battery again for 7 hours n tight up the lose connection..now steering wheel is founction normaly..nd steering wheel icon is no flashing more..
thx alot again..
