I've been hanging around this forum while I waited to buy my new car, trying to get ideas for what I plan to do with mine.

But, last week I picked up my Fiat Grande Punto 1.2; engines a bit boring I know, but I'm 17 and its my first car, insurance is cheap, and it has enough kick to get me around.

As a whole the car was very clean, few little bumps on the outside, but the interior was almost perfect - considering its a 10 year old car!

First it was time for a major clean; this was the result:

Next, it is time for the body shop to get the few small issues fixed..

Will update once the car is booked in and is done :)

So far the car plans go... some simple exterior changes;

Wind Deflectors
Pressed Plates
Stubby Arial
Tinted Windows
Black/Carbon Wing Mirrors
Small Spoiler

Lows (Coilovers)
New Wheels
Red Callipers

Interior;

Leather Bucket Seats
Full Sound System

Water running but into new the windscreen scuttle is channeld out through a rubber hose directley above the brake servo on
this new model,a very bad idea,later punto evos are fitted with a L shaped pipe to be avoid not this .

but the issue of water ingress from the rusty brake plate had NOT been addressed by 2012..:(

as pointed out by Dombooth when my TA was 2 days old:eek:

at 1st ever Midlands Italia meet.. 3 and a bit years ago:cool:

Finally picked up my car from having it's body work done, all shiny and clean!! I also got my hands on some new wheels, fairly boring Corsa SXI wheels, but they'll do for now - and cheap to add to my insurance. They now need a refurb, going for graphite grey, I'll upload photos with them on soon!!
