banbury? up the a43 onto the m40 for a junction onto the m1 northbound upto junc 25/26/ 27/ 28 for nottingham.

no wait got that wrong. ok this is the way i go home from visiting friends - so whereever you are along this bit go this route: up A34 join the m40 j9, off at j10 up the a34 join the m1 at j15 going north bound - come off at either j25/26/27/28 depending on where abouts the meet is.
so which ever bit you live near ie near the a34 follow that route.
