Howsit Guys

I am new to this forum and new to the world of Fiat

I would love some advice or assistance

I purchased myself a Fiat Fiorino 1.4 Petrol brand new approximately 1 year ago,
My van has just hit 60 000 kms/ 37000 miles it has also never missed a service.
Recently my check engine light has been coming on and after about 50kms it goes back off, when the light comes on there is no loss in power no change in consumption absolutely no difference in the vehicle

I would really love some help or advice anything would be really appreciated.

I was not able to take out the warranty or motor plan due to costs so I am a stressing a bit

Please help

Regards Tony

Hi, and welcome,
no doubt a sensor is finding something out of the normal range / spec.

easiest thing is to plug in an OBD2 fault code reader,
there should be at least 1 stored fault( from the warning light)

the code NUMBER will give a clue as to where to look,
Charlie

Hi Charlie

Thanx alot for the advice.
I finally got some diagnostics run on my van today and the guys recon it is a faulty O2 sensor on my exhaust they also say my cat is disintegrating if they tap on the exhaust it sounds like its full of rust apparently it is pieces of the cat. how true this is I am really not sure but guess I have to take their word for it..

Do you have any advice on doing a decat on my van and weather it will affect my engine light when its removed
