Hi all.
I have, as many others on the Fiat forum bad working handbrakes on my Ducato.I have changed the rear brake discs, and replased the handbrake cables, and new brake shoes for the handbrake. I follow the adjustment procedure found on the forum, and i am sure i do it correct. when placing the handbrake lever to the 6th notc, and thightning the adjustment nut to 15nm, the wheel won`t move when i release the lever, it is as stuck as when the lever are at the 6th notch. Have anyone else trouble with getting the handbrake to work after using the procedure? thanks

X2/50 shoes are so difficult, being small and covered by such a large flange, it would be very easy to get the springs stretched or incorrectly fitted so the shoes were sticking.
Assuming they are OK I have always found it better to just slacken off the nut till the wheels turn reasonably freely. The only advantage I can see to adjusting the cable the other way is its quicker because you don't have to raise the wheels.
