Hello Forum hive mind!

I recently purchased a 58 plate Doblo, 1.9 diesel (120hp) and after driving it 200ish miles, the righthand driveshaft gave up! Got it to my local garage, (which has been great) But they have not been able to fit a new shaft to it?! The part they got was from a main Fiat dealer, but the issue seem to be that the shaft is too short?? Is there a specific part to the 1.9? The motor was a Cat D sometime in the past, would this have knocked something out of alinement?

I'm grabbing at straws here, but any advice will be gratefully received.

Thanks in advance,

Spike.

Search driveshafts on here under both DOblo and multipla some one had the similar within the last 12 to 18 months max.. Sorry cannot remember the solution, but they did find one.
it was me, and this is the post :
the solution was to ignore 'new' parts, and go to a scrappy. (I did, and first one had the right part (correct length) still going strong a year later )
All the pattern parts are the correct Fiat number, but all are 50mm too short.
