hi guys, after arranging a bit of a lads weekend at santa pod for this weekend we all decided we needed to get a car to take down the track for run whatt you bring. now ive always liked the fiat coupe so when i saw one on ebay priced at £390 it seemed to good to pass up. went and picked it up on friday and drove it straight to santa pod. checked the oil and water and then proceeded to thrash it down the strip all weekend! now i didnt expect much for my £390 and if im honest didnt think it would be in any condition to drive home! how wrong was i?? it was ace, and even beat my mate in his bmw 528i m sport! needless to say hes gutted!
i was going to sell it when i got back (or scrap it) but that aint going to happen now. its here to stay. so i need to sort a few things out, the body work isnt the best (just a few dinks here and there) but ill sort that in time. when accelerating in first gear its not to smooth!! it kangaroos all the way through first gear if you just floor it, if your gentle it doesnt do it. the centre section of the dash/ centre consol looks to be covered in glue but i actually thing the plastic has melted away on the surface. also the boot doesnt like to shut.
so any advice greatly appreciated to sort out these little problems.
oh and also the exhaust back box is in the boot and someone has welded a straight pipe on which is currently melting the bottom of the bumper!
id just like to tidy it up and enjoy it!!!!!
