Hello, I have a Fiat Coupe 1,8 16 v and has been told by somebody that this car has a lot of common spareparts with eiether Fiat Punto or Fiat Bravo/a is there anybody who can give me som einformation on this matter pls? regars from Geir

Post in the Coupe section. I'm pretty sure it's the Bravo, rather than the Punto.
The 1.8 16v, is the engine used in the Punto HGT, And Bravo/a/Marea, stilo and barchetta. As to whether there are any specifics to the coupe version i don't know.
I was thinking more of chassis parts.
Wasn't aware that they made one with the 1.8 engine, though.
Weird engine choices (probably born out of what was available -- 1.8 FIAT/Alfa, 2 litre FIAT 16v, 2 litre FIAT 16v turbo, 2 litre n/a and turbo FIAT 5 pot).

Engine wise, it shares the same engine as the Bravo/a I believe. The later 1.8 16v in the Punto/Stilo/Barchetta has a different head (produces more power too). Some parts may be usable between the two though, although I'm pretty sure if the Bravo/Brava engine you would want.
Chassis wise, the Coupe shares the same chassis as the Bravo so no doubt there will be parts that are usable, although I couldn't comment on which ones.
the 1.8 was only available on the continent and never in the UK. Shame really as it could have provided a cheaper way to get into a coupe rather than having to fork out for the stupid insurance premiums the 2.0l engines command.
