Hi I have a Fiat Bravo 1.4 T jet. November 2009.
I have had it from new so I know the History. Its got 95.000 on the clock a lot of the miles are Motorway Miles.
Recently a knocking noise was getting to me. Due to the mileage I thought I would replace a few parts.
I went for the easiest parts to change first.
1 I changed the rear suspension struts. the knock was still there.
2 I changed the tail gate suspension arms the knocking was still there.
3 I changed the anti roll bar rods I think it was these but I had the front suspension in bits so I changed the front suspension struts at the same time.
When I had rebuilt the front under carriage. I carried out a test run the knocking had gone.
I am pleased the car should give me a few more years.
Although the noise seemed to be coming from the rear I do think it was the anti roll bar rods you can purchase these off Amazon for about £8 each.
I did have to saw the nuts off a bit awkward but doable.
Regards Mick.
