Tuning Fiat bravo 2011 sensation turbo vl37 to vl36 need advice.

Hi guys I bought turbo couse my turbo eat oil so I replace it to vl36
Now I have strange noise when the robot change from 2st to 3t and 4t and...
What couse the noise it's seem like a bird.
I have open filter, and all is stock.
Any advice?
I must to remap it, and if I remap I must to put new downpipe?
I gona crazy with this **** it's cost a lot

You just put bigger turbo without remap?
VL36 blows more air than VL37 with same amount of fuel.
Maybe that is problem?
That VL36 is new or used?

Used bit 1000 kilometers,
I must remap the software?

Are there any other mods on the car? anything else replaced? anything bypassed? like the recirculating valve? Any errors?
Post a few videos of the sound so we can get an idea.

You could be getting boost cut if the wastegate solenoid is installed wrong, but could just be the "open filter" (whatever that means)... so you could be hearing the recirc valve dump the boost (normal).
But it could also be a bad turbo eating itself.


Yes you do need a remap!... the vl36 flows more air.. is a bit dangerous without a map => melted pistons.
Should be fine.. if you stay off boost! until the remap.

No. You don't need a downpipe.. the stock one will work with both the vl37 and vl36.
