Technical Fiat Bravo 2008 diagnostic cable and software

Hi all,

I've recently bought a Fiat Bravo 1.6 Eco Dynamic 58 plate and I would like to buy a diagnostic cable to enable me to plug my laptop into the ECU and obviously the diagnostic software to go with it.

Could anyone help me out by telling me which cable I need to buy and where I can download the correct diagnostic software for my car?

I have bought one elm327 diagnostic adapter with usb, and i am using the multiecuscan.

I bought the software, but you can use free. But with the free, the most adjustment (oil degradation level after oil change) cant be used.

Thanks for your reply, that's great. Do you have a link to where you bought the elm327 from? I just googled it and there are some on Amazon, but just want to make sure I buy the right one.
