General Fiat Brava 1999 lighter and high beams problems

I just owned a fiat brava 1999 1.6sx and It's my first car. It have tape player. I cant listen mp3 with usb or aux. I bought one mp3 player for lighter. And It doesn't work so I buy again new one. And I think maybe problem is at my lighter... Or maybe it have lock mechanism and I don't know what. Can someone tell his experience or any trick about it?

Other problem is about my high beams. They don't stay on, after I use and let my hand from stick they go off. Does it have any lock mechanism?

for the high beams, yes there is a lock normally, sounds like the stalk mechanism is worn out.

Sure you are pushing the stalk, not pulling. The rotary switch needs to be on low beams for the pushing as it has lock.

For lighter socket, check fuses.
