Fiat Brava 1.2 16v (Richard)

Please can you advise?

I have recently purchased a 1.2 16v Brava for my daughter

Its 2000 year with 70000 on the clock

I have just drove it down the road and when I stopped at a junction the revs dropped so low the engine cuts out and needs to be restarted.

It seems to run ok apart from this problem.

The car can be kept running by keeping the revs high.

Can you suggest what part I need to be looking at, thanks.
