Hello all,

Albea started selling recently in Eastern Europe.
Here are some details:

Any owners, what can you say about the car?

I understand Albea is a face-lifted Siena, so Siena owners please post also here! :)

Hi, I have the Siena with 96bhp engine. I've noticed a 106bhp version is available. WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE,PLEASE, does anybody know?? I've also heard of replacement cams that fit straight away, the computer and Lambda sensor looks after the rest. Is this true??
Nice performance, although I would like a 6th gear for long distance cruising(Pretoria to Cape Town=1000 miles!)Does the Tipo 6speed box fit? All these questions and none to be answered in South Africa.
Thanks Kobus

My dad used to have one before he get the stilo and it was a great car, it had like 100000000000 milles and never a big problem. The engine was a FIRE 1.3 16valves, Multipoint Inyection.

excerpts from roadtest:

A truly world-class car, the Siena is one of the safest cars on Indian roads. The Siena boasts of side-impact bars as standard with an array of additional features like anti-lock brakes, engine immobiliser and twin Eurobags.

Its suspension is better than that of the Uno and gives a smooth ride even on very uneven surfaces, It has the low-speed refinement of the Ford Escort and high-speed stability of an Opel Astra.

imagine - the high speed stability of an Astra! combined with the low speed refinement of an Escort, what kind of engineering magic have they done?

Here's a pdf copy of a Palio/Albea/Siena workshop manual. It's written in Polish but you may be able to get some information from it.

If you don't have an account with RapidShare, click "Free User" then you need to wait for about 60 to 90 seconds then click the download button.
