Technical Fiat 500L Alternator Removal

Evening Ladies & Gents!

My missus's 500l needs a new alternator 1.4 petrol with AC

Simply how do you take the top bolt out? I can feel the head of it but can't get too close with a socket.

I'm guessing loosening the ac motor will help but the third bolt on that is also hidden.

I've seen reference to discussions on alternator removal but can't find them.

All help appreciated!!

The parts are probably the same as the Grande Punto.. lots of onfo on here

A tip.. if its just a charging issue..

And it spins freely

Might be worth just replacing the brushpack.. @£20.. and 2 small bolts
