Technical Fiat 500 - Proxy Alignment 2017

Hi all,

Bought a wee fiat 500 2017 pop for the girlfriend as a runaround. It didn’t have any Bluetooth or anything so I bought an aftermarket apple car play (plug and play type deal) - link below.

Pardon our interruption...

After installing the mileage started flashing. Thought there was an error, asked a boy to do a diagnostic on the car and he said it needs a proxy alignment but he can’t do it and it isn’t possible as there is a thing inside the old radio (somethin to do with a crash sensor) and that’s why you can’t do it.

I was wondering if anyone in central Scotland can tell me how to get around this, can I buy this sensor and get it installed? Can the same person who may install this also carry out the proxy alignment ?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

My knowledge of the mileage flashing is the blu and me module dying.

Hey, thanks for the reply I will post on the other one and see what they say - may well be this Blue and Me - unsure what that is but I’m sure it shouldn’t be too difficult a fix
