I have a 2008 500 Ferrari with 61K miles, it was stored with low mileage for a few years, but has been my daily runner for
last 2 years. Unfortunately it seems to be needing original parts replacing.
This morning, unable to select any gear, plenty of fluid but its been recovered awaiting it being looked at.
Now if this was a classic panda, then it probably would have been a quite cheap clutch cable repair.
I hate to think how much this will cost me.
Any thoughts as to the problem (and likely cost)

Thanks
Fozzy

Great looking little cars, the Ferrari 500s :)

First things first, is it the manual or the MTA? If it's the manual there's a chance it might be the hydraulic pipework 'quick connect' leaking, or a master or slave cylinder fail is also a possibility. So worth exploring that before thinking it's anything more expensive like a failed clutch (esp if it's showed no signs of clutch wear or noise before). Chances are, if it is some form of hydraulic failure, it'll still be a relatively cheap repair.

MTA is likely to be more expensive to fix however...

Its the manual Version.
Plus there no previous noise or signs of wear before this happened. I put my foot on the clutch pedal and it felt a little resistance, and heavier than normal, as its normally light.
