Technical Fiat 500 dualogig

Has anyone had problem with fiat 500 dualogic in autumatic when start in morning it can't get into gear properly and keeps jumping.. Has got worse over 8 weeksReverse is same. Fiat diagnostic couldn't find problem.. Only happens when car is left a few hours.. After driving 15 minutes it's fine

How long have you had it..

Its in automatic and when turned on is jerky or stop at junctions or if put it in reverse its the same until have driven for 15 mins.. 3 Yr old 6400 miles

Sounds like ' the Robot' isnt controlling the clutch very well

Commonly caused by low fluid.. it then will need any air bled from the system..
To restore proper Robot function


and potentially a Relearn of the Clutch 'bite point'..as it appear this has been happening for weeks

Sounds like you want to try a different garage..

Did they charge you @£100 for 'Diagnostics' ?

Thats not unusual for a main dealer..
Just about ok if they get to the bottom of a problem.. a waste of your money if they dont


Where are you based..?

Yes they did.. And said car was fine. They said I was out of warrenty by 6 days.. But spoke to complaints yesterday and might be in by a day or so.. They will come back to me nxt week. I'm nr Reading Berkshire.. Thanks
