Crunching between gears on a Dualogic is usually down to one of these 3:
A) Leaking fluid
B) Knackered clutch
C) Gearbox (not actuator) problem.
If it's not leaking Actuator fluid the cars history is the next place to look.
At that mileage, B & C are unlikely but possible...
Are you sure the gearbox oil was the correct grade? Wrong grade will cause the same problems as on a standard manual.
(I'm making an assumption that you used Tutela CS-Speed fluid for the actuator.)
Was the previous driver trying to drive it like a conventional automatic? That will kill the clutch pretty quickly.
I asked because there have been a few questions on here from people who have bought a Dualogic with existing problems (i.e didn't own the car when the problem started.)
Nearly impossible to give useful advice, as no information on what things have been done. And it's usually those "things done" which have broken it.
PS: I have a Dualogic Panda with about 120k miles on which sometimes clunks or crunches between 2nd and 3rd, although usually only on cold mornings. I tend to put it in Eco mode when cold and it seems to be a bit less prone to clunking or crunching. Works just fine otherwise.
It's not got any worse in the 30k miles that I have known the car. No actuator or gearbox leaks and it just keeps going.
I haven't done anything about it yet, but I'm probably going to change the clutch at some point this summer to see if that improves it.
If I can find a good spare gearbox I might swap that at the same time.
