Carried out a repair to clutch pedal on Fiat 500 2009 where it had snapped at the weld. Procedure as follows:
1, The spindle that holds the pedals have a circlip at each end, remove these. A hook tool is good for removing the left one. I managed to get the right hand one off by hand.
2, Go under bonnet and take bolts off clutch master cylinder located left hand side bulkhead. I used 13mm socket with wobbly and extension bar.
3, Remove connector rod off clutch pedal and push back to give space for pedal removal.
4, Use a flat head screwdriver to help move spindle towards the right, should slide slowly but surely.
5, Pedal should remove. ( I welded mine but I suppose you can replace with one from scrapyard.
6, Refit is reversal of this procedure.
I have read thread that you need to remove Steering wheel, column, dash etc etc. Not needed. You don't need to remove the pedal box either.
Job took me an hour or so, but I did weld mine, hope this is helpful for someone as not much on about this procedure.
