Help needed !! Fiat Ducato 2.8jtd starts and cuts out. It will stay running without the fuel pressure sensor connected but really rough. Tried a sensor off a working van and it cuts out the same. I’m assuming this is telling me true fuel pressure is not correct so any ideas of where to start? Could it be the fuel pump not building right pressure . Really need advice!!!!!

Read codes and check the requested vs actual pressure using multiecuscan. Can be hard to diagnose pressure issues. Clogged fuel pressure regulator -check the tip with good magnification consider fuel starvation due to clogged lift pump strainer, failing lift pump, clogged filter.
