Technical Fiat 1,9TDI 91 How to check timing belt syncronization

Hi. I have an Ducato 91 1.9 TDI with mechanical problem.

The motor run but rough idle, bad smell from exhaustio och mechanical, sharp, knocking noise from engineblock when accelerating.

have checked many thing without succes.

I want to check if the timing belt maybe "jumped a tooth". If the crank and camshaft isnt synchronized maybe it can cause these problems.

I looked for mark on belt, pulley but dont se any.

Anyone have a guide with pictures how to check synchronization?

In order to see the timing marks, you will have to remove the timing belt covers, and probably the auxiliary drive belt + crankshaft pulley.
