Guys;
My Mk1 HGT's RPM Meter has a problem...
It comes & goes ramdomly...
The electricians tried to solder the inputs ( thinking that the socket is the problem) but they failed.
It simply goes of without reason & when I hit over the dash, it comes back... ( Most of the time..)
It's very annoying...
There seems a connection problem "inside" the tachometer/dials
Any ideas what to do for ?
I've seen some prior posts about changing the bulbs with LEDs or changing the dial face but they are not mentioning about any connections inside the tacho ?
If I decide to open the tachometer, where should I have to look, what to repair for ?
If I deceide to open the tacho, I may change the bulbs & the dial face but first I need a working Rpm meter
Any ideas ?
Thanks in advance
