Technical Fault code P0190-15 Ducato 3.0 180

Hi, I hope somebody can help. I have a 2014 ducato 3.0 180. Engine management light comes on. Fault code is P0190-15. Message says " Rail Pressure sensor - circuit short to Battery or open". Rail pressure sensor has been replaced, also the fuel regulatorsolenoid valve has also been replaced. Van will run for a couple of miles okay but then the dreaded engine warning light comes on. Any ideas?

Yes - either there is a fault in one of the other components powered by the circuit or there is a fault in the wiring

thanks for the reply. I have followed the wires from the fuel rail pressure sensor but cannot find any fault. Would you know what other sensors etc are on that part of the loom. ?

There may be some vulnerable wires that can run on a metal bar behind the left hand/passenger side headlight .

I don't know what else is on the relevant circuit

Just guessing but I wonder if the code is being triggered by unexpectedly low rail pressure......how is the in tank pump? Filter?
Monitor/graph fuel rail pressure just before and when fault occurs

According to the fault code there is a short to the battery or a open circuit so it must be something in the loom. I will start looking at the loom tomorrow.

Today I got round to looking at the wiring loom from the fuel rail pressure sensor. I cleaned the plug that goes onto the sensor with electrical contact spray. I have checked for any damage to the wires all the way to the plug that goes into the ECU but nothing found. Took the van on a 5 mile run and the fault code P0190-15 has now gone (Must have been a wire not connected). However engine light has now just come on showing a fault code P0093-21 which is "Fuel pressure negative govenor deviation - signal below limit" Does anybody know what this code means and where do I start looking. As 1 error code disappears another 1 pops up. Whatever it is, it is something electrical either the wiring loom or the ECU. Any help would be appreciated.
