..and also what is the silicone one? (I presume its the hose) is it worth the extra 15 beer tokens?

That includes the hose that goes from the filter to the air meter. The silicone one has a silicone hose

It should be fine on yours as its a Mk2.

Does the non-silicone one come with a hose, just err, not made of silicone?
